General Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and provide analysis for management.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support audits by supplying documentation and explanations.
• Monitor and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
