GenAI Engineer – Engineering Automation

About the role

As a GenAI Engineer you will design, prototype and implement generative‑AI agents that streamline engineering workflows across Bosch. You will translate complex engineering use cases into reliable, compliant AI solutions that accelerate innovation in automotive multimedia and safety sensor development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement GenAI agents for tasks such as requirements analysis, documentation assistance, test interpretation and failure analysis.
• Build AI pipelines using large language models (LLMs), embeddings, vector databases and domain‑specific knowledge sources.
• Integrate AI agents with engineering tools, PLM systems, test‑data platforms and document repositories.
• Develop Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for structured and semi‑structured engineering data.
• Ensure agent reliability, traceability and safe behaviour in regulated environments.
• Collaborate with domain experts to evaluate usability, performance and fit‑for‑purpose.
• Document architectures, APIs, integration points and operational guidelines.
• Work closely with security and compliance teams to guarantee responsible AI usage.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a comparable field.
• Proven experience in generative‑AI development, AI agents or related technologies.
• Ability to work in regulated engineering environments and deliver compliant solutions.
