Functional Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst to join our Solution Design team in Lisbon. You will work closely with Change and Business Units to translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, supporting the management and recovery of credit and real‑estate portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Model, map, and design functional, security, integration, performance, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with Change and Business Units to create and maintain updated Product Backlog Items (PBIs).
• Keep functional documentation and wikis current and accurate.
• Conduct project assessments, delivering functional designs, cost estimates, and high‑level execution plans for approval.
• Participate in Scrum teams during sprint execution.
• Support business areas with training and user acceptance testing (UAT) in partnership with Business Partners.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in functional analysis and requirements gathering.
• Proven experience in solution design and documenting functionalities.
• Ability to define acceptance criteria for each functionality.
• Experience coordinating development and testing teams in agile environments.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, organized, and results‑oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English.
