Fullstack Software Engineer (Backend‑Focused)

About the role

proGrow is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer who will primarily own backend development while also contributing to frontend features when needed. You will work on both legacy and next‑generation cloud‑native systems that power data‑driven factories worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js/TypeScript, with occasional work in Java or Go.
• Contribute to React and React Native frontend components as required.
• Build and evolve IoT ingestion pipelines with AWS IoT Core, MQTT, Redis, and BullMQ.
• Develop new features on the modern architecture and support gradual modernization of existing components.
• Design scalable schemas and write efficient queries for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision‑making.
• Integrate backend services with LLM‑based AI Agent workflows and internal tooling.
• Help improve DevOps, CI/CD, and observability practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack or Backend Engineer.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work autonomously.
• Comfortable contributing across the stack when needed.
• Good knowledge of cloud environments and event‑driven architectures.
