Fullstack Application Developer

About the role

As a Fullstack Application Developer you will design, build and maintain Java‑based internal applications that support Knowledge Services processes and learning tools. You will work across the entire application lifecycle, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, test and maintain Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Build full‑stack solutions, including backend services and web‑based user interfaces.
• Create UI components with JSP, Thymeleaf and/or React.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases to design schemas and optimise queries.
• Deploy and support applications in Linux environments.
• Manage development tasks, bugs and enhancements using Jira.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain high‑quality code using Git and established development standards.

Required profile

• Passion for solving real‑world problems through software.

• Clear communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable in agile environments and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Strong Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Front‑end development using JSP, Thymeleaf and/or React.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Task tracking with Jira.
• Version control using Git.
• Design and consumption of RESTful APIs.
