About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and analytical Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join our nearshore team for an international project. In this role you will design, build and maintain scalable full‑stack applications and high‑throughput APIs.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain robust frontend applications using React and Next.js, and backend microservices with Node.js (Express/NestJS) and TypeScript.
- Build resilient REST and GraphQL APIs following clean architecture and event‑driven patterns.
- Deploy, containerize and manage applications on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and optimise relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and ensure high availability.
- Implement automated unit, integration and end‑to‑end testing with Jest, Vitest, Playwright and TestContainers.
- Monitor production environments, troubleshoot incidents and participate in on‑call rotation.
Required profile
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise‑grade full‑stack web applications.
- Professional fluency in spoken and written English.
Required skills
- React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript.
- Node.js (Express or NestJS), microservices architecture.
- AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, Lambda, IAM).
- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
- Testing frameworks: Jest, Vitest, Playwright, TestContainers.
