Frontend Developer – React/Next.js (Lisbon)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing team in Lisbon to enhance and maintain luxury brand client and market platforms. You will work three days a week on‑site, collaborating with global, multi‑time‑zone teams to deliver high‑quality, performant web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using Next.js and React.js.
• Implement modern frontend best practices, including component‑based architecture, state management and automated testing.
• Build and maintain API middleware that connects the frontend to various backend services.
• Utilise the Alokai platform for solution integration.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to define, design and ship new features.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests to ensure software quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, React.js, CSS, Node.js and npm.
• Experience with API middleware development is a plus.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms is a plus.
• Fluent English; Portuguese highly desirable.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
