Frontend Developer – Digital Solutions (ContiConnect)

About the role

Continental’s Data & Customer Solutions Competence Center is looking for a Frontend Developer to join the Digital Solutions IT team. You will work on ContiConnect, a digital tire‑monitoring platform for commercial fleets, within a SAFe/Scrum environment alongside backend, architecture and mobile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI features, views and components for ContiConnect and other Continental applications.
• Create reusable, responsive components using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Sass and Bootstrap.
• Integrate frontend code with backend services and manage global state with RxJS.
• Identify and resolve performance issues and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Follow agile processes, clean‑code standards and test‑driven development practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in business web‑application development.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability and a collaborative team attitude.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Bootstrap
• JavaScript, TypeScript
• Angular (preferably version 19+)
• RxJS for global state management
• Git version control
• Responsive web development and cross‑browser testing
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (plus)
