French-Speaking Helpdesk Support Technician – Remote (Porto)

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Helpdesk Support Technician to join an international support team for a fast‑growing French fintech that provides cloud‑based accounting and financial management solutions to SMEs. The position is fully remote, based in Porto, with a quarterly office visit.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support via phone, email and chat.
• Investigate, analyse and resolve complex technical incidents escalated from lower support tiers.
• Identify root causes of application‑related issues and guide users through software troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems and follow established support workflows.
• Spot recurring incidents, suggest process improvements and collaborate with internal technical teams.

Required profile

• Fluent French (C1/C2) and good English proficiency (minimum B2).
• Proven experience in technical support, helpdesk, IT or application support.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Customer‑focused, proactive and comfortable working in a team‑oriented environment.
