French Product Information Translator

About the role

Farfetch is seeking a native‑level French translator to localise product information for its luxury fashion marketplace. You will work within the Creative Operations team, ensuring that product descriptions, material details and size‑fit information are clear, accurate and culturally appropriate for French‑speaking customers.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and adapt product descriptions, fabric compositions, material properties and size‑fit details into French.
• Localise the entire Farfetch product catalogue, respecting cultural nuances and brand tone.
• Maintain high quality and on‑time delivery of all translation projects.
• Manage and update translation memories and terminology databases to guarantee consistency.
• Contribute to the improvement of localisation tools and workflows.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in French with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience translating luxury or high‑end e‑commerce content, especially technical product details.
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to craft customer‑centric copy for French audiences.
• Process‑oriented mindset with experience handling translation workflows and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for e‑commerce.
