About the role
The Fine Dining Host/Hostess greets and seats guests at the Ritz‑Carlton restaurant in Sintra, ensuring a welcoming and elegant first impression. This full‑time, on‑site role supports the dining team by maintaining a polished environment and delivering the brand’s gold standards of service.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, properly set tables.
- Pull out chairs, present current menus, and guide guests through the dining area.
- Arrange tables and seating for groups with special needs, ensuring appropriate place settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, monitor dining room safety, and follow clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and uniform standards while providing professional telephone etiquette.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb throughout the shift.
- Professional appearance, clear communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.
