Financial Services Tax – Real Estate Manager

About the role

The Financial Services Tax – Real Estate Manager will join the Tax practice to advise clients on local and international tax matters, with a focus on financial services and real‑estate related transactions. Acting as a strategic consultant, you will help organisations manage tax obligations, mitigate operational tax risks and design tax‑efficient structures that meet capital and jurisdictional requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on local and international tax affairs, providing strategic consulting for business analysis and profit sharing.
• Manage tax compliance and structuring for financial services clients, addressing operational tax risks and capital requirements.
• Analyze complex tax proposals and develop actionable recommendations.
• Draft and prepare tax documentation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor financial trends to inform tax planning and decision‑making.
• Lead tax compliance projects, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Coach and develop team members, leveraging their strengths and encouraging personal growth.
• Utilize project‑management skills to oversee tax‑related initiatives and meet client expectations.
• Build and maintain client relationships to understand tax needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Translate complex tax concepts into clear messages for client understanding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in tax, preferably within financial services or real‑estate sectors.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, Bar membership, or other tax/finance credentials.
• Proven leadership experience, including team management and mentoring.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex tax issues.
