Financial Controllership Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controllership Manager to lead our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and accounting functions across Brazil and the United States. The role will drive performance, process optimisation and automation while ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Controllership team, delivering accounting, tax and financial routines on time and with high quality.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual close for Brazilian (BR GAAP/IFRS) and US (US GAAP) operations.
• Oversee consolidation of financial statements across group entities, handling intercompany transactions and transfer pricing.
• Act as main liaison with external accounting firms in Brazil and CPA in the US, validating deliverables and ensuring consistency.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, internal controls, bank reconciliations and working‑capital metrics.
• Define and monitor KPIs such as DPO, DSO, cash conversion cycle and aging reports.
• Ensure tax compliance and regulatory obligations in both jurisdictions, including BACEN, Brazilian Federal Revenue, and IRS requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial closings, audit, IFRS and US GAAP.
• Degree in Accounting.
• Advanced/Fluent English.
• Experience consolidating financials across different countries.

Required skills

• NetSuite.
• Process automation tools such as n8n or SQL.
