Financial Analyst

About the role

Farfetch is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Finance team in Porto, Portugal. The role supports monthly closing, consolidation and reporting activities, working closely with accounting coordinators and the Financial Reporting Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries for assets, liabilities, revenue and expenses based on accounting information.
• Analyse trial balance variances and assess reasonableness.
• Consolidate group balance sheet and P&L data, supporting disclosures in financial statements.
• Develop and update accounting policies and procedures for the group.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal controls.
• Assist external auditors and provide necessary documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or auditing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, auditing or consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; US GAAP is a plus.
• Proactive problem‑solver with ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Team player capable of collaborating across departments.
