Financial Analyst – Digital Health Services

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team supporting the fast‑growing Digital Health Services portfolio in Porto. The role partners with the iSens Electronica organization, providing financial planning, forecasting and analytical support to drive informed decisions and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial results, highlighting drivers, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support financial reporting and performance analysis of the iSens P&L, including gross margin, operating expenses and capital spending.
• Develop and maintain financial models, resource forecasts and KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
• Identify cost drivers and margin improvement opportunities, contributing to productivity initiatives.
• Produce monthly business review materials and translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Assist with month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardisation and business‑intelligence solutions.
• Support integration of iSens data into Abbott ERP systems and standard‑cost accounting implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional certification such as MBA, CPA or CMA is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting or operational finance.
• Proficiency in Portuguese.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling.
• PowerPoint for presentation preparation.
• Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as TM1 and HFM.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
