Financial Accountant

About the role

Blossom is seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to join its Finance Department. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensures accurate financial records, and contributes to month‑end and year‑end closing processes within a fast‑growing medical‑cannabis manufacturing company.

Key responsibilities

• Process, review and record invoices, expenses and payment requests.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in the ERP system.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, performing regular reconciliations.
• Conduct bank, supplier, customer and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Provide data for financial and management reporting.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist the Finance Department with continuous improvement of financial processes.

Required profile

• Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and solid knowledge of financial accounting best practices.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an ERP accounting system.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
