Finance Manager & Financial Controller

About the role

Parkview Invest is expanding its Lisbon office and seeks a Finance Manager & Financial Controller to own the financial function across its family office and investment portfolio. You will work closely with senior decision‑makers, providing operational finance, reporting, and investment support in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review financial performance of investments, holding structures, and family‑related entities.
• Manage or coordinate accounting across multiple jurisdictions, with hands‑on involvement for Portuguese entities.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports, internal dashboards, KPIs, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate tax advisors and auditors to ensure compliance and timely filings.
• Support the investment team with financial due diligence, cap‑table reviews, and transaction structuring.
• Design, implement, and improve financial processes, reporting tools, and internal controls.
• Oversee cash‑flow, entity‑level spending, intercompany reconciliations, and funding structures.

Required profile

• Background in accounting, controlling, or audit (Big Four experience strongly preferred).
• Strong technical understanding of IFRS and local GAAP; exposure to multi‑jurisdiction structures is a plus.
• Familiarity with investment environments and financial due diligence is advantageous.
• Analytical, data‑driven, highly organized, detail‑oriented and self‑directed.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; German is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as Bexio, Xero, Exact, or other ERP systems.
