About the role
The Finance Director will lead the finance function for a leading global aviation business operating in Portugal. This senior position reports directly to the executive leadership team and is responsible for delivering accurate financial insight to support strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide senior leaders with robust financial reporting and analysis.
- Act as a strategic business partner to the leadership team.
- Lead, develop and manage the finance function across the country.
- Own the profit and loss (P&L) statement and drive performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Recruit, mentor and develop the finance team.
Required profile
- University degree in finance or an equivalent qualification.
- 8 to 10 years of experience at a senior finance level.
- Strong experience in IFRS reporting.
