Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will lead financial operations and reporting for a multi‑entity logistics organization. This senior role partners with executive leadership to provide analysis, guide investments, and support M&A activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning across multiple entities.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Manage consolidated financial statements, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, eliminations and settlements.
• Develop forecasts, budgets, variance analyses and management reports to support business decisions.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, liquidity and overall financial performance.
• Partner with executives on financial analysis for growth initiatives, investments and operational decisions.
• Support M&A activities, including due diligence, transaction support and post‑acquisition integration.
• Coordinate audits, tax compliance and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls and systems.
• Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including senior financial leadership.
• Previous experience as Finance Director, Controller, Senior Controller or comparable senior‑level role.
• Extensive experience with complex corporate structures, multiple legal entities and intercompany relationships.
• Experience in mergers & acquisitions and private‑equity environments.
