Finance Business Process Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Business Process Analyst to join Airbus Portugal’s Finance Transformation team. You will enable business users to automate processes, drive self‑service adoption and ensure governance of Business Owned Tools.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the lead technical advisor for self‑service automation, guiding “Citizen Developers” through discovery sessions and removing adoption barriers.
• Co‑develop and lead projects using Palantir (Skywise) and Google Apps Script, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Design and deliver training, drop‑in sessions and onboarding material for the Transformer Network.
• Manage governance of Business Owned Tools, coordinating validation, prioritisation and technical review of automation requests.
• Analyse and re‑engineer end‑to‑end finance processes, identifying opportunities for RPA or data‑pipeline automation.
• Foster an active community of users, sharing best practices, maintaining “Pipeline Example Banks” and providing ongoing support.
• Contribute to the finance transformation roadmap, improve user experience and operational performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Corporate Finance, International Accounting, Audit or Business IT, with relevant certifications.
• 5+ years of experience leading digital or finance transformation projects and large‑scale system implementations.
• Strong knowledge of financial mechanisms such as consolidation, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven experience in change management and Agile project delivery.

Required skills

• Palantir (Skywise) – building pipelines, managing datasets and configuring applications.
• Google Apps Script – JavaScript programming, integration with Google Workspace (Sheets, Gmail, Drive).
• UI Path or similar RPA tools for robot‑based automation.
• Data‑visualisation and Business Intelligence tools for reporting and analytics.
• Data‑science methods, including AI and statistical model interpretation (plus).
