Finance Analyst – Controllership

About the role

This position plays a key role in ensuring the quality of financial information, compliance with legal obligations, and supporting the company’s financial operations. You will work closely with local and international teams, contributing to process improvements and business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly and annual closing processes.
• Perform accounting activities across General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Inventory, and Payroll.
• Ensure accuracy of financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Assist statutory reporting in accordance with Portuguese GAAP and US GAAP.
• Collaborate with external consultants on tax obligations.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
• Participate in internal control processes and financial reconciliations.
• Work with local and international finance teams on ad‑hoc projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in General Accounting or Auditing.
• Experience in a multinational environment is a plus.
• Fluent Portuguese (native) and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Portuguese GAAP (SNC) and familiarity with US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Solid understanding of tax regulations.
