Field Clinical Specialist – Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV)

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist for Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) will support Edwards Lifesciences' innovative TAVR solutions across hospitals in Puerto Rico. You will ensure safe and effective device usage, provide education to clinical teams, and act as a bridge between the company and key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Support THV procedures in hospitals, guaranteeing safety, efficacy, and compliance with Edwards SOPs.
• Certify centers, physicians, and staff for product use and maintain documentation.
• Engage with KOLs and proctors, delivering device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting training.
• Develop and continuously improve training curricula and materials based on clinical trial experience.
• Provide post‑procedure follow‑up support and technical assistance to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Managers to implement growth strategies and upsell in strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device or clinical environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in hemodynamics preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of hemodynamics and cardiovascular anatomy.
