Facilities Manager – Lead Operations & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Facilities Manager to lead facility operations, maintenance activities, and utility services across assigned buildings. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with proven leadership to ensure operational excellence, safety compliance, and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, coordinate, and execute facility services, utilities, repairs, and maintenance for assigned buildings.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all utilities and facility services.
• Lead daily activities of HVAC technicians, electricians, mechanics, and handyman teams to maximise efficiency.
• Conduct periodic facility inspections, evaluate equipment conditions, and initiate repairs as needed.
• Prepare job estimates, proposals, and quotations for work outside contracted services.
• Schedule maintenance and repairs to minimise disruption to customer operations.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract compliance, milestones, and special projects.
• Ensure processes align with company standards for estimates, work orders, service reports, invoices, and payroll.
• Identify and implement energy‑efficiency initiatives and facility‑improvement opportunities.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety policies and incident‑reporting procedures.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service and effective communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or utilities.
• Proven experience managing technical teams and coordinating maintenance operations.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
