Executive Education Director

About the role

Porto Business School is seeking an Executive Education Director to lead its executive education enterprise, covering open and custom programmes, learning design, pedagogical innovation, and international expansion. Reporting to the Vice Dean, the role combines commercial leadership, academic stewardship, and global market development.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the executive education strategy across open, custom, certificate and online portfolios.
• Build a B2B business‑development engine, set revenue targets and cultivate senior HR, L&D and C‑suite networks.
• Lead needs assessment, design, negotiation and delivery of tailored corporate programmes.
• Anticipate market shifts, including AI impact, and translate them into new products and go‑to‑market approaches.
• Direct the Learning Innovation Unit to embed evidence‑based pedagogy and responsible technology integration.
• Expand internationally through partner institutions and corporate clients while safeguarding brand consistency.
• Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, pricing and resource allocation.
• Align and develop a multidisciplinary team across four units and partner with faculty for programme design and staffing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) with credibility in a university environment.
• 8–12+ years of experience in executive education, consultative B2B sales, professional‑services business development or management consulting.
• Proven track record of commercial growth, programme design and international market development.
