Executive Assistant to Plant Manager

About the role

As the Executive Assistant to the Plant Manager, you will act as the right hand of the manager, ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting strategic initiatives at Testo's Albergaria‑a‑Velha site. This role combines high‑level administrative support with project coordination across R&D, production, logistics and other functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, run and follow up on management meetings, workshops and site visits; draft decision papers, presentations and executive summaries.
• Implement and maintain steering tools, reporting systems, KPI and OKR tracking, and produce performance dashboards.
• Serve as the interface between local teams, corporate HQ and external partners; coordinate cross‑functional projects.
• Research best practices, identify operational risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor budget adherence, analyse cost‑saving opportunities and support HR in workforce planning, onboarding and training.
• Organise strategic off‑sites, town‑halls, plant tours and prepare internal and external communications.

Required profile

• Completed university degree, preferably in engineering, business or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project management, operations or consulting, ideally in an industrial or international environment.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; German is a plus.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, calm under pressure and service‑oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
