Entry Level Automation Engineer/Developer

About the role

RoviSys is seeking a recent college graduate to join our automation team as an Entry Level Engineer/Developer. You will work on designing, implementing, and configuring automation and control systems for manufacturing clients across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automation and electrical control systems that interface with process equipment and sensors.
• Architect solutions using technologies ranging from databases to AI and user‑interface tools.
• Provide clients with real‑time, actionable process information and develop quality code following RoviSys and client standards.
• Travel to client sites to assess existing systems, review P&IDs, equipment and I/O lists, and define control schemes.
• Network controllers, HMIs, PCs, field instruments and process skids to deliver fully integrated control solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, partners and clients in a team environment.

Required profile

• College graduate with a degree in Engineering, Controls, or a related technical field.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience, preferably co‑op or internship in manufacturing or process environments.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for developing innovative automation solutions.
