Enterprise Architect (FinTech / Crypto)

About the role

GoMining is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to own the overall technical architecture of its entire ecosystem, covering Payments, Cards, Custody, Wallet, Mining and Core Platform, and the connections between them. The role is highly influential: you will shape the target architecture, define technical standards, manage architectural dependencies and work closely with the CTO, engineering leadership and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously evolve the end-to-end architecture of the GoMining ecosystem.
• Define the target architecture, principles, standards and long-term technology roadmap.
• Ensure architectural consistency and seamless integration across financial products, payments, wallets, custody, cards, mining services and core platform infrastructure.
• Design scalable, resilient distributed systems able to support millions of users and high transaction volumes.
• Establish architectural boundaries, service ownership, integration patterns and data flows across engineering teams.
• Drive architecture decisions on microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, data platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks, technical debt and scalability limitations.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide engineering teams.
• Collaborate with the CTO, engineering and product leaders to align architecture with business strategy, evaluate new technologies and embed security, reliability, observability and performance.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in enterprise, platform or solution architecture roles.
• Mandatory experience architecting systems in FinTech, banking, payments, digital banking or cryptocurrency companies.
• Proven experience designing architecture across multiple interconnected products or business domains.
• Strong software engineering background, ideally as a Senior / Lead / Principal Engineer.
• Ability to define long-term strategy while staying hands-on, and to drive architecture decisions across teams.

Required skills

• Distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, API design and integration patterns.
• High-load, fault-tolerant, mission-critical systems.
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Financial transaction processing, data consistency, security and regulatory requirements.
• Nice to have: crypto exchanges, blockchain, wallets and custody experience, PCI DSS, KYC and AML familiarity, and scaling platforms to millions of users.
