English Teacher – Lisbon & Cascais (Multiple Schedules)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic English teachers to join Instituto de Línguas Modernas for the upcoming academic year. The positions are part‑time, based in the Lisbon and Cascais area, and involve delivering English lessons to young learners in a private primary school and a private kindergarten.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to primary‑school children (Parede – Cascais) and pre‑starter children (Lisbon).
• Adapt teaching materials to suit the age and proficiency level of each class.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and school staff.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and motivating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to align curricula and share best practices.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (TEFL, CELTA, university degree in Education or English, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching primary‑school or kindergarten children.
• Reliable, organized and passionate about language education.

Required skills

• Fluent command of English.
• Ability to design age‑appropriate lesson plans.
• Classroom management and student assessment.
