Electrical Engineer – Environmental Test Chambers

About the role

Aralab designs and builds world‑class environmental test chambers that simulate extreme temperatures for research institutions and industry. As an Electrical Engineer you will create the electrical architecture that powers these custom‑built systems and ensure they operate flawlessly for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for bespoke climatic chambers.
• Select, specify, and validate components such as power distribution units, control panels, and sensors.
• Lead R&D projects to develop next‑generation testing equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, production, and sales teams to meet client specifications.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing instructions and technical documentation.
• Provide on‑site technical support, troubleshoot issues, and commission chambers at customer locations.
• Drive continuous improvement of electrical design standards and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrotechnical Engineering.
• 5+ years of electrical design experience, preferably in industrial or engineered‑to‑order equipment.
• Proactive ownership mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working both at the desk and hands‑on in the factory.
• Fluent Portuguese and proficient English.

Required skills

• Low‑voltage electrical systems, power distribution and control circuits.
• Electrical CAD tools – EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical.
• Automation fundamentals – PLCs, sensors, actuators.
