Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering and manufacturing team that creates advanced factory‑built power modules for data centres. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of EPOD (power module) systems, from concept through to testing, commissioning and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for EPODs and power modules.
• Produce electrical schematics, drawings and technical documentation.
• Develop designs suitable for manufacturing and factory assembly.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and delivery of EPOD systems.
• Maintain project documentation and as‑built information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical designs and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, regulations and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience designing electrical systems for industrial or complex engineering applications.
• Ability to work on‑site five days a week in Viana do Castelo.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings and documentation.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English and Portuguese.
