EHS Expert - Corporate Office Sustainability, Environment, Health and Safety

About the role

Bosch Group is hiring an expert for its Corporate Office Sustainability, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team covering own operations, based in Lisbon. The role contributes to the group's occupational health and safety strategy, environmental protection and compliance with legal requirements such as the CSRD.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the occupational health and safety strategy and the environmental protection strategy, focusing on waste and pollution
• Analyse CSRD and other legal requirements and turn them into corporate actions
• Assess requirements, developments and risks in occupational safety, fire protection and environmental protection
• Support policy deployment, KPI tracking and monitoring, and derive corrective measures to safeguard third-party audits
• Keep the associated management systems continuously developed
• Develop training on EHS topics and advise business units on EHS matters
• Integrate AI-driven solutions into the department's projects

Required profile

• University degree in engineering or natural sciences (or equivalent); additional training in sustainability-related areas is valued
• 5 years of professional experience in occupational health and safety, environmental protection and sustainability, ideally in a corporate or industrial setting
• Portuguese and English at business fluency; German is a plus

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of EHS regulations and management, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Strong analytical and risk-assessment skills, strategic thinking and data-management skills
• Communication and presentation skills, and IT skills (database, SAP, Power BI)
• Structured, proactive and collaborative approach with project management skills
