Director, BNVK Synergy Program

About the role

The Director of the BNVK Synergy Program will lead the execution, governance, and hands‑on PMO for strategic value‑creation initiatives stemming from Mastercard’s acquisition of BVNK. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures that revenue synergies are delivered on time, across product, technology, finance and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end governance of all Mastercard‑BVNK synergy initiatives.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans and operating cadences for each workstream.
• Coordinate senior stakeholders across Mastercard and BVNK to ensure alignment and accountability.
• Manage execution of priority synergy projects such as Mastercard Move, MTN/FI Payments, Card Settlement, Card Issuing, Global Bridge, SME Collections, Agentic Payments and Capital Markets opportunities.
• Create executive‑level reporting, monitor milestones, manage risks, issues and dependencies, and drive resolution of obstacles.
• Track synergy business cases, partner with Finance to measure realized and forecasted value, and implement corrective actions where gaps appear.
• Partner with product, commercial, technology, treasury, finance, compliance, risk, legal, operations and regional teams to ensure coordinated decision‑making.
• Implement best‑practice integration management processes and build repeatable frameworks for future growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale integration or synergy programs in a complex, matrixed global organization.
• Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence senior leaders across multiple functions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, remove execution barriers and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Deep understanding of financial services, payments and digital banking ecosystems.
