DevSecOps Consultant – Hybrid (Porto)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Consultant to coach and support Operations teams in adopting automation, modern infrastructure practices, and cloud‑native technologies. The role will be based in Porto with a hybrid work model and will focus on driving infrastructure transformation, including migration from Windows/IIS to Red Hat OpenShift.

Key responsibilities

• Coach Operations teams on DevSecOps and automation best practices.
• Design, develop and maintain infrastructure automation solutions.
• Promote and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Manage and improve deployment and release management processes.
• Contribute to migrating applications from Windows/IIS VMs to OpenShift.
• Develop automation and operational tooling using Python and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and operations teams in an international environment.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across platform and infrastructure services.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Python and PowerShell.
• Solid background in Windows administration and IIS administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (containers, images, pods).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with XL Deploy and XL Release.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and automation practices.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
• Fluent English.
