DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join our Electronic Equities team. You will work on an ultra‑low latency algorithmic trading platform that leverages cutting‑edge hardware, network solutions, and software technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DevOps/infrastructure components for the e‑trading platform.
• Own the SDLC pipeline and drive CI/CD improvements, including tool migrations.
• Automate application infrastructure configuration.
• Support hardware (virtual and bare‑metal) and network troubleshooting in close collaboration with Production Support.
• Collaborate with global engineering, business, and support teams to enhance platform performance and services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of SRE/DevOps experience.
• Proficiency with agile development methodologies and team collaboration.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a globally distributed team.

Required skills

• Version control and CI/CD tools: Git, TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Artifactory.
• Operating systems: Linux/UNIX fundamentals, TCP/IP stack.
• Monitoring and observability: ITRS Geneos, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Scripting and programming: Python, Bash, Java, C#, C++.
• Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
