DevOps Engineer – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

PrimeIT is looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to join its growing global team. You will work remotely from Portugal, supporting production cloud environments and driving automation across modern data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve production cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Git and related tools.
• Support data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks, including ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Provide production support, monitoring, incident management, and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams to ensure observability and reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer or SRE.
• Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Git, Terraform, and cloud environments.
• Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks, plus Python and SQL scripting.
• Proven track record in production support, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and based in Portugal.
