DevOps Engineer – Banking Sector

About the role

Join Devoteam's Banking sector team as a DevOps Engineer, responsible for maintaining the stability of production and non‑production environments while driving automation and security improvements. You will work closely with cloud experts and application support to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Guard technical environment stability (production and non‑production) ensuring services remain operational.
• Define and promote technical solutions that meet architecture, security, and scalability standards.
• Integrate infrastructure requirements into the product backlog and implement technical user stories.
• Collaborate with Application Production Support to implement robust monitoring using modern observability stacks.
• Drive automation, performance enhancements, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation and disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct security reviews, trace machine access, and identify operational bottlenecks, proposing immediate action plans.

Required profile

• Previous experience in IT infrastructure and production operation steering.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and risk mitigation.
• Proficiency in Agile and DevOps cultures.
• Ability to train and support team members in adopting new tools and best practices.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
