Desk Side Support Engineer

About the role

NSC Global is seeking a Desk Side Support Engineer to provide onsite end‑user computing assistance. The role serves as the first point of contact for hardware, software and connectivity issues, ensuring smooth daily operations for enterprise users.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and present solutions to customer staff while monitoring daily service call activity, utilization, inventory and service levels.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network problems.
• Troubleshoot issues within agreed service‑level agreements and document all interactions in the CRM system.
• Participate in configuration, support and installation of internal systems and high‑end connectivity products.
• Collaborate with logistics, adhere to schedules, policies and continuously improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, common software applications, Microsoft Windows OS, printer hardware, networking (including wireless and VPN), ticketing tools and Microsoft Office/Office 365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, Apple macOS, and network/server hardware components.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, OEM vendor certifications (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.), MCITP or MOS are preferred.
• Fluent written and verbal English and the local language.
