Deep Learning Engineer – AI Safety

About the role

Bosch Car Multimedia is seeking a Deep Learning Engineer specialized in AI safety to advance perception systems for autonomous driving. You will work on cutting‑edge sensor fusion architectures that combine RGB, LiDAR, and Radar data, ensuring reliable and safe AI performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, optimise and deploy novel deep‑learning models for 2D/3D point‑cloud and image data.
• Develop AI‑safety methods such as uncertainty quantification, model calibration, open‑set recognition and anomaly detection for perception pipelines.
• Collaborate with research, innovation and cross‑functional teams to integrate robust solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to align technical approaches and ensure architectural coherence.

Required profile

• MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics or a related AI field.
• 3‑5 years of experience developing, training and evaluating AI methods.
• Strong programming expertise in Python.
• Solid background in digital signal processing, computer vision and deep learning.
• Good statistical knowledge, especially in uncertainty and calibration techniques.
