About the role
The Amigo Rexville store in Bayamón is looking for a full‑time Cake Decorator to join its bakery team. You will be responsible for creating attractive and delicious cakes for customers, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cake batters, bake, and cool cakes according to recipes.
- Apply the spatula (spatulado) technique to decorate cakes with smooth finishes, borders, and designs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety standards.
- Interact with customers, taking custom orders and providing friendly service.
- Adapt to flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in cake preparation and decoration using the spatula technique.
- Strong orientation toward customer service.
- Availability to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.
