Data Scientist

About the role

EVIO is looking for a Data Scientist to design, build, and evolve data solutions that integrate information from multiple sources. You will work with relational and non‑relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, Python, and Power BI to create a solid foundation for reporting, analytics, and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines from internal and external sources.
• Integrate and structure data from relational and non‑relational databases.
• Build, optimise, and manage data‑warehouse and data‑lake environments.
• Create data processing, transformation, and analysis workflows using Python.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate needs into practical solutions.
• Support deployment of machine‑learning models and predictive analytics.

Required profile

• Academic background in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
• Strong experience with Python, SQL and data analytics toolkits.
• Hands‑on knowledge of non‑relational databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra or Elasticsearch.
• Experience building and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes.
• Ability to work with large data volumes while ensuring performance.
