Data Science Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Data Science Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team at the HUGO BOSS Digital Campus in Porto. The role is ideal for candidates with up to three years of experience who want to translate business problems into analytical solutions and support digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, design analytical solutions, and deploy machine‑learning models (e.g., churn, CLV, segmentation, personalization).
• Build, deploy and monitor models using MLOps tools such as MLflow and Git.
• Leverage Databricks, Azure or similar cloud platforms for scalable data processing.
• Perform data transformation, model development and evaluation with Python, PySpark and ML libraries.
• Apply statistical methods (hypothesis testing, A/B testing, confidence intervals) to validate results.
• Communicate insights through clear visualisations and storytelling.
• Collaborate with business, data engineering and IT teams to drive customer‑centric strategies.

Required profile

• Up to 3 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Proven ability to manage the full lifecycle of an ML solution, from data wrangling to deployment.
