Data Science Analyst GenAI

About the role

We are looking for a Data Science Analyst specialized in Generative AI to join our Data & Analytics team at the Digital Campus in Porto. This junior‑level position offers the chance to work alongside senior AI experts on cutting‑edge generative models while supporting cross‑functional business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and testing of generative AI models under senior guidance.
• Gather requirements from cross‑functional teams and prepare data for AI applications.
• Monitor emerging trends in generative AI and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Prepare presentations and documentation to communicate technical findings to stakeholders.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of professional experience in AI or related fields.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI models (e.g., through internships or projects).
• Solid understanding of machine‑learning fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear communication skills and a willingness to learn from others.
• Preferably experience in a consulting or business environment and contributions to open‑source or academic publications.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Generative AI model development.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
