Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our fast‑growing tech team in Porto. You will work on high‑tech solutions for a variety of markets, including banking, finance, insurance, industry, and telecommunications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
• Build and optimise PowerBI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and availability.
• Implement data processing logic using Python and functional programming paradigms (Scala, SBT).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a technology‑focused company.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
