Data Engineer

About the role

PMI is transforming its business toward smoke‑free products and needs a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data solutions. You will work with modern cloud technologies to enable efficient data integration, transformation, and reporting for enterprise‑wide analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Integrate and transform data from SAP systems and other enterprise applications into analytical platforms.
• Develop and optimise ETL/ELT processes to ensure reliable data delivery.
• Build and maintain data models that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring controls.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline and platform issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or similar roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Experience working with SAP data sources and enterprise data integration.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT design, data modelling, and cloud‑based data platforms.
