Data Engineer – Cloud Integration Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement cloud integration solutions that meet customer needs. The position is based in Aveiro and involves working on Cloud Adoption, Data Integration and Cloud‑Native Services within a multicultural team operating in Portugal and Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
• Design and implement data lake, warehouse, vault and mart structures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cloud‑based integration projects.
• Utilise streaming technologies to process real‑time data flows.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable and aligned with client requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Data Engineering.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Python or Scala programming.
• SQL for data manipulation.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Snowflake, AWS Athena or Google BigQuery.
• Familiarity with Azure Stream Analytics, Amazon Kinesis, Google Cloud Dataflow and Kafka.
