About the role
Devoteam is looking for a Data Engineer to join its Energy sector team in Lisbon. The role focuses on building cloud‑based backend applications, APIs and data pipelines that support digital transformation for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement cloud‑based backend applications and architectures.
- Build REST APIs and manage integrations with third‑party service providers.
- Design and deploy robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Node.js.
- Optimize data infrastructure and workflows within AWS.
- Ensure high quality through testing, version control and CI/CD best practices.
- Apply industry‑standard tools and best practices to continuously improve system performance.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proven experience with Node.js.
- Experience developing on AWS.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL.
