Data Analyst – Ovar

About the role

Join Bosch Group in Ovar as a Data Analyst, supporting engineering development and product improvement through data‑driven insights. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers and other stakeholders to embed analytics into the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historical data to identify trends, anomalies and performance drivers.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for product development and business decisions.
• Design and build practical algorithms based on data thresholds and business heuristics.
• Provide punctual data‑driven support for engineering development, including defining data requirements.
• Analyze customer ticket data to uncover patterns and opportunities for product improvement.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, data scientists and hardware engineers to integrate insights.
• Create and present compelling reports and data stories for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in descriptive analytics with critical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with both structured and unstructured data.
• Experience writing clean, maintainable code and using version control (Git) as a standard practice.
• Basic proficiency with Bash/Linux commands.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Pandas, Matplotlib and PySpark libraries.
• Git for version control.
• Bash/Linux command line.
• Knowledge of dashboard visualization tools such as Streamlit (advantage).
