Data Analyst (French Speaker)

About the role

Natixis in Portugal is seeking a Data Analyst who is fluent in French to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the data engineering team. The role combines business analysis, data modelling and hands‑on ETL development to deliver reliable reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into clear data models and technical specifications.
• Design, build and optimise star‑ and snowflake‑schema data models for reporting.
• Develop, test and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, primarily using Stambia, and adapt to other tools such as Talend, Informatica, SSIS or dbt when needed.
• Implement data‑quality checks and automate validation processes.
• Create Power BI dashboards and reports that meet stakeholder expectations.
• Document data lineage, data dictionary and ensure data governance standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or analytics engineering with a strong focus on ETL development.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance or a related field.
• Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL (complex queries, optimisation).
• Stambia (or comparable ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, SSIS, dbt).
• Power BI for reporting.
• Data modelling (star and snowflake schemas).
• Data governance and data‑quality automation.
