D-Tech Primary Teacher (Ages 6‑10)

About the role

PaRK International School, a bilingual Microsoft Showcase School in Lisbon, is looking for a creative D‑Tech Primary Teacher to inspire learners aged 6‑10. You will design and deliver a hands‑on curriculum that blends digital literacy, coding, robotics and design thinking within a bilingual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging D‑Tech lessons covering digital citizenship, coding, robotics and design thinking.
• Guide students through project‑based learning and the engineering/design process.
• Manage classroom technology tools such as iPads, laptops, coding platforms and robotics kits.
• Maintain a safe, collaborative makerspace optimized for teamwork and experimentation.
• Partner with primary homeroom teachers to integrate D‑Tech projects with broader units of inquiry.
• Assess student progress using formative and project‑based assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, Computer Science, Design or a related field.
• Internationally recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) or specialised EdTech certification.
• Native‑level or near‑native English fluency (minimum C2).
• Proven experience teaching technology, coding or STEM/STEAM subjects to primary‑school children.
