Cybersecurity Expert – IT/OT Product & Solution Security

About the role

Siemens Mobility Portugal is seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to lead product and solution security for IT/OT projects. You will shape security concepts, assess risks early, and ensure compliance with international standards across the rail‑mobility portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support IT security concepts and requirements throughout project lifecycles.
• Perform high‑level risk assessments during the proposal phase to identify potential security threats.
• Assist project teams in designing security architecture and conduct customer‑supplier security discussions.
• Carry out threat and risk analyses, define countermeasures, and validate them with the penetration‑testing team.
• Specify, maintain, and enforce security requirements in line with IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001 and other regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT, engineering or a related scientific field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of experience in IT infrastructure projects, including network security, system hardening and storage technologies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Familiarity with security standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS) are a plus.
• Ability to analyse vulnerabilities (CVE, CVSS) and translate findings into actionable measures.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
